Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Senior Care Placement in the Phoenix West Valley

Q: What services do you provide?
A: We help families find and place their loved ones into quality senior residential homes in the West Valley (Surprise, Peoria, Glendale, Sun City, Goodyear, Avondale, and surrounding areas). Our placement service is completely free to families. We also coordinate with local doctors who provide care directly in our homes.

Q: Is your placement service really free?
A: Yes. There is no cost to you or your family for our placement help. We work with a network of licensed senior homes and earn our fee from the homes, not from families.

Q: What areas do you serve?
A: We primarily serve the West Valley of Phoenix, including Surprise, Peoria, Glendale, Buckeye, Sun City, Sun City West, Goodyear, Avondale, Litchfield Park, Wickenburg and nearby West Phoenix communities.

Q: How does the placement process work?
A: You call us or fill out a form. We listen to your loved one’s needs, preferences, and budget. We then match you with suitable homes in our network, arrange tours (in-person or virtual), and guide you through the entire process until placement is complete.

Doctor & Medical Care Questions

Q: Do you have doctors that visit the homes?
A: Yes. We work with local West Valley doctors who provide care directly in our residential homes. They can see residents in person when medically necessary.

Q: Can family members join the doctor visits?
A: Absolutely. For every doctor appointment, your family can join live via video call — even if you live in Canada, Mexico, California, Virginia, Washington, Germany, or anywhere else in the world. This ensures everyone stays fully informed.

Q: What if my loved one is embarrassed or hiding symptoms?
A: Having family on the video call helps create transparency. The doctor can speak with both the resident and the family together, so everyone hears the same information and no serious or life-threatening issues go unreported.

Q: What insurance do you accept?
A: We accept Medicaid (ALTCS), traditional Medicare, and private pay. We do not accept Medicare Advantage plans.

Cancer Patients & Specialized Care Questions

Q: Do you accept and support cancer patients?
A: Yes. We work with homes experienced in caring for residents with cancer. Our local doctors can coordinate with oncologists, manage pain and symptoms, and ensure proper medical oversight during treatment or recovery.

Q: What kind of care is available for cancer patients in your homes?
A: Depending on the stage and needs, we can help place your loved one in homes that provide palliative care, pain management, medication administration, nutritional support, and assistance with daily activities. We can also arrange coordination with external cancer treatment centers when needed.

Q: Can families join doctor visits for cancer patients?
A: Yes. Family members can join every doctor visit via live video even from Mexico, Canada, or other distant locations. This helps ensure the full treatment plan, side effects, and prognosis are clearly understood by everyone.

Q: Do you help with other uncommon or complex care needs?
A: Yes. We assist with many specialized situations, including Parkinson’s disease, ALS, multiple sclerosis, stroke recovery, hospice/palliative care, wound care, oxygen therapy, feeding tube management, and other complex medical conditions.

Q: What if my loved one needs hospice care?
A: We can help place your loved one in homes that support hospice services. Our team works closely with hospice providers to ensure comfort-focused care while keeping family fully involved through virtual visits.

Cost & Payment Questions

Q: How much does senior care cost in the West Valley?
A: Costs vary depending on the level of care needed (assisted living, memory care, specialized medical care, etc.). We will give you transparent pricing for each home we recommend so you can compare options easily.

Q: Can Medicaid help pay for care?
A: Yes. Many of our homes accept ALTCS (Arizona’s Medicaid long-term care program). We can help guide you through the application process if needed.

About Our Homes & Care

Q: What types of care do our homes offer?
A: Our network includes assisted living, memory care, and other residential senior care options tailored to different needs and budgets, including specialized support for cancer and other complex conditions.

Q: Are your homes licensed?
A: Yes. All homes in our network are licensed by the State of Arizona and meet required safety and care standards. They will even pass the "Nick Shirley" test.

Q: Can we tour the homes?
A: Yes. We can arrange in-person tours or virtual tours depending on your preference and schedule.

Working with Out-of-Area Families

Q: Do you work with families from out of state or out of the country?
A: Yes. We regularly help families living far away, including those in Canada, Mexico, California, Virginia, and many other locations. Distance is not a problem. We make sure you stay fully involved through virtual doctor visits and regular communication.
